The first step is to speak with Realty87. Then take the 96 hours of pre-license courses; pass the Iowa Real Estate commission exam with 70% accuracy; complete a background check; apply for Errors & Omissions insurance; submit a state application.
Yes! After completing the real estate licensing steps, you'll expand your industry knowledge with Realty87 9 week training program. You'll learn from experienced agents, work with a mentor and have access to our amazing support Brokers and Staff.
Your income potential is unlimited. It's not a typical salary or hourly position, real estate agents work on commission. The more you sell, the more you make!
After the initial 9 week training, you are in control of your work schedule – it can be as flexible as you need it to be. It's common that you may have to show houses in the evenings and/or have open houses on the weekends.
As a real estate agent, you are responsible for your own insurance. You can obtain your own plan, join on your partner's plan or utilize the exclusive insurance marketplace provided by Realty87.
